About Me
I grew up in a small town along the banks of the Fox River Watershed in the western suburbs of Chicago. As a kid I enjoyed exploring the river banks searching for life and quickly became obsessed with what lurked below the dirty waters.
Before 12 I started navigating the shallow river channels in an old Jon boat and worked my way up the species from Carp and Channel Catfish to Smallmouth Bass and Flathead Catfish which for years I believed to be the king of the waters! After mastering many different species, I finally was convinced into targeting the fish of 10,000 casts! Muskies! They quickly became a passion from the pure dedication and persistence it took to hunt!
After many, many years of almost strictly targeting Musky, it has become a way of life. Writing articles and helping with books, working outdoor shows and filming content for You Tube Slime Quest TV, all thanks to the support of great companies like B&N Custom Rods and Tackle!
